New Roles & New Faces at Chief Construction

Chief Construction, a division of Chief Industries, Inc. and one of the premier construction companies in the Midwest, created new roles within the division in 2017.

Chief Construction has assessed our innovative strategies that can help attract, cultivate and retain our customers. The outcome of the assessment was that our team needed to grow and diversify to keep up with our customers’ expectations. In 2017, Chief Construction not only increased the number of team members, but we also added new roles.

Kyle Huse and Kiley Keck have joined the team as Project Coordinators. Huse comes to Chief Construction with a Business Administration Degree and over 13 years of work experience and Keck joins Chief Construction with over 10 years of experience in the construction industry. The project coordinators are responsible for assisting in the preparation of comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and details for projects. Coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries are also key initiatives.

Jon Jakob, formerly a Project Supervisor with O’Neill Transportation and Equipment, has taken on the role of overseeing our new division, Carpentry. Jon focuses on the installation of structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding, constructing building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes along with inspecting and replacing damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.

“Kyle and Kiley have many strengths, including attention to detail and unparalleled communication with our internal team and external customers,” said Rob Rasmussen, Project/Estimating Supervisor. “We are excited to fully leverage their strengths and add that additional value to our client’s projects.”
